Yo... I am happy :)... why not, when weird stunts fetch you gifts in your office :D... That too a 'Gem Stone Painting'! I love paintings and this one is - I think I should say 'Overwhelmingly awesome'!
This is what happened...
There was a contest of naming the 5 conference rooms in our office... and this is what I mailed as a reply to that...
Pradeep,
With the idea that we should express our culture in naming the rooms, I extracted a set of names from Sanskrit. Following are the names along with their meanings.
Conference Rooms:
Dai Mandal: Mandala means circle which stands for balancing visual elements, symbolizing unity and harmony. Dai means great. Which can be together understood as great circle (round table conference)
Bodhi Mandal: This means sacred place/place of awakening
Arya Mandal: Arya for noble. So this means place where nobles sit.
Training room:
Gurukul: nothing but school
Yoga room:
a) Mantralaya: Mantra for meditation. Which makes it like relaxing room.
b) Yoga Mandal/asana mandal
Though the names are weird I think they can be cut short to Dai, Bodhi and Arya in usage. However, they would still be weird. I hope they will be better as we get used to them :).
Regards,
Ajay
