Single and Good

The other day I saw a couple sitting on the Marina beach side. The girl was weeping and the guy was wiping. Then I started wondering what all could be the reasons for her to cry. And came up with these:

·         It could be any of the numerous reasons which make girls cry starting

from ‘tight shoe biting her feet’

via ‘recall of a senti scene from the super-slow super-hit soap’

to ‘a little prettier girl in the class getting a half mark more than her’…

or

·         It could be any of those wish-breaks:

“Where are the snickers that you promised? Kwaaaa!!”;

 “Where is the rose-pink teddy with baby-pink ears and head tilted exactly at 32 degrees? You promised you will get it. Kwaaaa!!”…

or

·          It could be any of those good-better-best theories:

“Her boyfriend is so good, he calls her every hour to say I Love You”;

“Her boyfriend is better than you, he gives her a snickers every time they meet”;

“She got the best boyfriend, he buys her a new ‘Rolex’ every month”…

or

·         A goofy argument:

“It was you who proposed to me and not me to you”;

“You used to love me more”;

“You are not the same Rahul you used to be”…

or

·         An even goofier argument:

“10 10’s is 100 and not 1,010”;

“you ate the last peanut yesterday, it’s not me”…

or

·         A result of ‘Obsessive compulsive disorder’ i.e., disease of doubt…

or

·         Some serious sentiment:

“Please don’t go to the camp. I will miss you. I can’t live without you for that long. I’ve never been, like this, without you for ‘1,72,800’sec in our past ‘half’decade!?!”…

or

·         Marriage issues:

“My parents are already looking for a different guy. They don’t like you”;

“Why don’t your parents like me? Can they get a better girl? What’s wrong in me?”…

or

·         Bearing issues:

“If my dad knows this he will kill me. How could you do this to me?”(as if it happened without her knowledge)

or

·         Baring issues: “Ugg… Ufff…. Yack….Ummm….&*^#Shit!!!!”

Out of all the possibilities, these are few of the very few which came to my head.

That is why, Being ‘Single’ is ‘Good’ :)
